I'm thinking this went to a concrete mixer truck with a rear mounted engine because the input yoke is on the back. Too bad because it's $1250. I'll keep an eye out for a HEMTT 55000
I had trouble codes 2251 and 2216 with the speedometer going out and it locking into its current gear. I swapped out the TCM with a good unit along with a transmission wire harness from the same parts truck. I just pulled the speed sensor and transfer case wire harness from the parts truck so...
Thanks for all the advise, especially about LKQ. My local LKQ said that they will build out my RTO for me. As for the 55000, are they all the same? I found one that looks like it came from a non-military application, but the price is good
Anything that would get me out of this Allison. My truck "lurches" twice when going into 3rd gear so I fear it may need a rebuild sometime.
I have a wilwood clutch pedal that mounts on the floor and I think I'll need this kind of fork unit...
Thanks for the fast response, I'll have to check out that tiktok. I might have a lead on a RTOO for $3,500 with a 1 year warranty close by if they ever call me back. They are hard to come by.
I don't like taking my truck over 65mph anyway lol
My buddy has M998 that had a vibrating 60 amp. It was tight and shook like hell. It stripped out the mounting bolt on the head, and when he swapped the head it just stripped out again.
My reasons are simple, I already have a RTO9513 and a M1084 with an Allison transmission. I was just quoted $1,600 for the output speed sensor and $611 for the transfer case wire harness and I'm sick of these transmissions. The Allisons are too expensive and have left me stranded multiple times...
Send me a pic of the thermostat connector. And do you know if it's 24v going to the controller? I've been modding units to take HDT Nordic air controllers
It did give me a new sense of respect and awareness about liquid fuel fired heaters. Just the shear amount of energy in it when it burns. Especially when it's running away after the power was cut off. I thought for sure my neighbors were going to call the fire department because I was smoking up...
This camfire worked just fine a month ago and my brother in law tried starting it for about an hour reseting it over and over.
Little did he know he was filling the burn chamber with motor oil.
He returned my unit and I got it to fire up. This is what it looked like when it was burning off...
Let me double check that I don't need it as it's my only 100 amp female connector like that.
Do you need a 60 amp? I can remove the blue Hubble connector
I have these adapter cables that hook up to my lex units that have Hubble connectors. I have a 100 amp power cable but it has male and female connectors and is 30 ft long
