I have never taken mine off but that was because it was painted onto the body. Its in the paint shop rite now, and the top is off and getting all new rubber all the way around. So i will definitely be taking it off more often.

Looking to find out how much a stock M1009 can tow (actual rated tow capacity, not concerned with the max you have towed) and how much (weight) you can pack inside this thing. Looking to find out how much I can pack this thing with and tow simultaneously. Again looking for actual military...

They are a beast on road too, no one wants to get in my way or cut me off with that old beast.

I have seen a few Blazers with swing out tire carriers. They didn't last long because they were only bolted to the body. Allot fell off. Dont do it. There are a few companies out there that make a rear tire carrier for the blazer though.

Does anyone make lockable fuel caps that will fit the M1009 Blazer?

Did you have to do any mods to put in the kicker speakers? Does it effect your air vents?

Dude, how did you make that center rifle carrier? My Remington 700's would look great right there.

I think the M1009 was only rated to ford 16inches of water? That doesn't seem like allot for a mil spec vehicle.

Go to Blazen Off-Road :: Rock Sliders or Daniel Palm Industries Sliders I personally love the looks of the deep woods sliders in the second link. But then again that is my preference. Both are bolt on, coated with bedliner you would have one bulletproof, non slip step-side.
