Just finished putting a used 6.5L N/A into my 2001 M1123. Now I have some blue smoke, maybe it is white, it is hard to tell, once the engine warms up a bit. If I take the cap off the oil filler, there is visible vapor.
Is the engine roached or is there something else that may be causing this...

or does it have to be the 12480779-2?
Those are good options but for now, as I am rebuilding this M1123, I found a TCM for $200 and I'll see how well it works. If I feel the need later Ill upgrade to one of these stand alone units. Thanks for all the info.
I know this is an older post but I just picked up an M1123 (2009yr) and it is missing the TCM.
These aren't really A2's but use the 12k halfshafts as they are considered the heavy variant.
