From what I've seen, you need to install a regular class 3 hitch on the deuce to tow a civilian trailer. I can't answer the other 2 things.

I wish Soni would post photos of the inside of the cab, inside of the shelter, etc. I'd love to see every inch of this truck and I'd love to hear all of the details about it. It's so amazing. I want it just because it's huge and bada$$ looking.

I agree with you that he may have driven any vehicle he had at the time, and yes he made poor choices but now I hope he's learned a very valuable lesson from it and in the future won't make those choices again. The argument you are having against him is just fueling the fire and not helping...
