I'm seriously thinking about lin-exing my entire truck i know i will have to put down as much as the truck cost. but i think in the end it will be worth it.
Hmm.... with all these options i think i would prefer the Lin-ex. Since, A. lifetime warranty how can you beat that! B. I'm pretty busy to do big jobs like that i more like the small mechanical job so having a dealer do it would be nice. C. $5,000 is a lot but I look at it as a selling point...
$1500, did you put it on or did you have a professional do it? I did send a qoute in to line-x. I just can't believe they don't have an army truck section on their website... oh well go figure.
Ya see, I was thinking it would be expensive but definitly pay off in the end due to the fact that you should never have to do any cosmetic work after you paint it with that stuff. Seano is this Line-X cheaper than Rhino and is it better? I do like the fact though you can have color AND spray it on.
I know carc paint is super durable and so is the behr. But i was wondering if anybody has just Ryno-lined all of the truck and then just spray painted over that with green. I know it would be expensive, but I'm thinking that it's next to impossible to chip or scratch down to bear metal with this...
I'm not trying to get off topic but i was told NEVER to start these trucks with starting fluid, you mean like ether, due to the explosion when it ignites can blow gaskets. Just my 2cents, since mine start easy at 0 with the use of the manifold heater after sitting for over 2 months , granted i...
I may just be paranoid but that looks almost exactly like the one that was up in Roseau last winter the guy was selling it for $6000. Do you know any of the history on this truck about that? But that looks almost like the perfect man cave mobile-station. Hats off to you my good man!
These pics are old but they are from the 2001 flood we had. destroyed lots of home and killed 1 but Polaris and the school was saved. I wanted to find the one pic where a National Guards men drove a M35a2 into a 15ft. deep ditch because he turned to early. They had to leave it till the water...
Well, it looks like you figured it out. but what i did was some $10 flood lights. (6 of them). wired them into series through toggles. then straight to the battery and they all work fine. Even better than the Mil. headlights on high. But it doesn't take much to beat those. Then to protect the...
Just got my number 2 fuel out and put in number 1. Also, put an order in for a stainless steel saddle tank, for WMO in summer time (can't clog my fuel filters if the tanks clean to begin with)
