Yes Bruce. I must agree.....Randy Erm was the first one to give me a chance to get a real up close look at a five ton. He spent all afternoon with me and answered all my question that I had about owning a MV. He is on heck of a GREAT GUY and helps out our MTA Northern Jersey Club 110%...
RE: Re: RE: 5 ton Transfer Case Ops
I did a little road test today and even with connecting the wire to the Transfer Case Interlock Valve it didn't make a difference from the tests I did when I aired up the air system and turned on the battery. I still think that the problem does involve the...
Thanks Jones, that is a couple of things that I haven't thought of.......The interlock/shift system also does not allow you to shift if you are not in neutral as well.
What tests can be performed on the Interlock Air Cylinder to see if it's working the way it should with out removing it from...
Well after giving it some thought. I think the electric system checks out with the Interlock Valve working and sending air to the Interlock Air Cylinder. Now all I have to do is make sure that the pistion with in the Interlock Air Cylinder is not frozen or hung up. It should be able to move...

I thought the same as you Rory until Jason took the time to explain it to me. He sure is one heck of a great guy for taking the time for all of us, but...

C'dub
After the in-frame overhaul was done the NHC 250 Cummins runs at:
2000 rpms @ 60-63 mph
1700 rpms @ 55 mph
power range seems to be around 1200-1900
I don't like to push her over 2000 rpm, she seems to running a little harder after that. I'm sure she would do more the 2000 rpms but I don't...
Very glad to hear you made it home safe and sound.......!!
I trucked back with two other deuces after one split off over the Delaware Gap I followed the other just a few miles from my house. Art thank god lives very close to me. We had no issues what so ever. At time he would pull away on the...
