Hello all, I ran across this trailer that is a little far from me and am thinking of adding it to my fleet. The owner says the data plate is missing and can’t tell me the model. I feel like I’ve seen just one of these before on auction. Anyone know what it is so I can do a little research?
If you do decide on carpet definitely consider replacing all the weatherstripping first and having a new windshield installed and resealed. I had a civilian blazer that I chased a leak for a long time and it was actually the windshield and not the doors or top.
Hello all, recently I picked up a Acutemp fridge and got the refrigerant refilled and installed rank new batteries. This issue I am having is that the batteries are either rapidly discharging, or are not fully charging. I can leave the unit plugged into 110 power for 24hrs and the display says...
Small update. I’ve been through my first 5 gallons of fuel and it will take a good load so far. Using poor mans load banks. Some $20 space heaters from tractor supply.
So an update for those after me that may find this thread for an answer. I just received an email today from govplanet stating my title was shipped via fedex from California with tracking info. Will update when it arrives and see if it’s correct.
Well, decided to run as is for now and see if it’ll loosen up some. I noticed with my light running for troubleshooting and repairs it was starting to wet stack. So I’m thinking that being a 2009 with 17hrs it definitely needs to be run and broke in some / loosened up before I tear. Into it. So...
It’s definitely pressurized. You can feel it pushing against your finger if you place it over the dipstick hole. That and I don’t think there would be any oil left if I open my filler while running. I left it open once and it slung oil all over the door. But I can try it.

Well here’s a update I was hoping I wouldn’t have to do. But, it’s back to surging so tank pull it is.
Next is the blow by is bad enough that it’s pushing oil past the dipstick and filler cap enough that it wets the battery.
So starting this afternoon I’ll be pulling a lot of the sheet metal...
I have no idea what someone was trying to accomplish but this cap was still attached to the radiator looking like this. They did a number on the neck too. I straightened the neck as best I could and got a new cap but it leaks still as it can’t seal well.
Well, had a small slot of free time before work this morning and.......it runs now no surge and holds 240v at 60hz steady and sounds good. I would post a video to share but not sure how to do it from my phone.
Now, the solution to the surge was a plugged primary fuel filter so I’ll need to grab...
Pulled the pumps today. One at the time of course as to monkey up the rack alignment. They looked relatively ok but shot some carb cleaner into the ports and up the spring and worked the levers. Also worked the sprung end on the table top up and down and seemed to not have any binding. Upon...
So, have run it collectively run it about 20 mins total and changed the oil and filter 4 times in that span. I now have clean oil in the filter, on the stick and when I pull the fill cap. Also can see the orange-ish primer I think through the opening at the cap which So there’s a win........I...
Oh, and some good news......I found the exhaust gasket for the enclosure down in the radiator opening with the top removed. Whoever was in this thing before just dropped stuff anywhere I guess.
Well got fresh filters and fluids all in and hot batteries and managed to get it to turn over. No start though. The main switch will make it kick or turn over once then stop as will the fuel pump after a few seconds. Dead crank will crank as long as I hold it though. I have a return line leak...
Well the only light I have in the tunnel is that when I got to it at the yard they didn’t assemble the exhaust enclosure seal and spring correctly so the spring was holding the flap open and I can see water down in the muffler. I’ve rotated it by hand clockwise a couple rotations from the crank...
