Bought a British FV-721 Fox. The charging system is not charging. Before I start tearing into it can anyone offer tips, websites, diagrams, etc.?

Bought a British armored reconnaissance vehicl, FV-721 Fox. It had been sitting for a couple of years. Bled brakes, changed fluids, etc. and everything now works except the generator (It actually has an alternator.) light is on. Quick check with VOM confirms no charge to batteries...

Here in Arlington the Arrowhead branch of the MVPA will have 16 vehicles participating. These will include a halftrack, deuce, command car, WW2 Harley Davidson military motorcycle, several jeeps, a couple of weapons carriers, and lots more. 0900 on the 4th. mdh

OK, this is so basic that it's probably a dumb question, so please excuse my ignorance. I just got a reel of cord to tie down the bed cover on my deuce but I can't seem to find a guide that shows the "correct" way to tie it down. Can anyone here direct me to a source? Thanks, mdh
