For the money a cobra 29 with a 102" whip is pretty good and they were on sale a few weeks ago at the flyin' j.
I'm no expert at this but a friend is. He recommended this setup and I installed it in the 1009. Would post a pic but on my phone!

Thanks Dave87 I have new springs up front but blocks in the back. I don't like the idea of taller than 4" blocks. Isn't their something you can do with the shackles?

I know I'm crazy but a old dude told me once to put pepper in when it was a minor leak. I thought the same thing but was 17 and pepper from McD's is free:? HAve found 2 packets seems to work best:-D

So I got the 4" lift and put it on today.... It is relllly tallll:-? Kinda having second thoughts.

Well my lift kit showed up today:) missing one spring pack:( but fed ex said it would be here tomorrow. I started putting the lift on and will get some pictures when it is finished.
Any door with a roll down window needs weep holes! Also you can buy 3M e-coat it is kind of waxy and you spray it on the inside of the panel. This keeps it from rusting!
I'll get some pics for you guys. It has aftermarket A/C.
Also have a 4" lift, new window run channels, and new window moldings that are going to be here tomorrow:)
I also have an appointment to get new exhaust on it today!
So I got a 1984 M1009 that i was told went to the Gulf War and then went on loan to the Dept of Agg. While their they put A/C in it :) So after driving north of DFW TX to get her the starter relay stuck and made for a long night. Any way I have done basic TMs and a few outher things.
