awesome. happy travels....
drive safe, that is alot of miles to hike for a brand new truck. im sure you will love it! once in a life time thing right there. take some pictures for us!
i understand what you are talking about. want to get rid of all the electronics in the system right?
i know in the TM's there is an air flow diagram... the only safe way that i can think of off hand is to have one valve for each tire, and one gauge for each tire. my first thought was one gauge...
didnt have an allen big enough to test right now. but measured it with the good ole digital caliper and it comes out to 12.24mm. i think it would be safe to say 12mm should get the job done.
this is on a 2000 year model
So a bit of an update.
Have drove it around a reasonable amount. Turns super nice!
Condition is very high. Any of the m1070 trucks on gl with low miles are a great buy. I belive it was driven down to texas or something and then sat. We see alot of them driving away from the oshkosh plant...
Stops dead at 45 on flat ground (plenty of power left but its has a gov set there). Coasting went to 55 and handled just fine.
we will need to fix that lol.
0-45 in a couple of seconds. Dont need full throttle.... lile 1/4 is plenty
Yes has air lockers from the dash.
Also has planitary hubs for extra gear ratio.... crazy
Turns about the same if not tighter than the m925. Has rear steering enabled which makes it turn very tight.
Thinking about it... its for sure tighter than the m925.
Tp
After a long time waiting for the EUC paperwork to clear it is finely here!!!!
Runs great. Drives like a dream. Nicer than my pickup truck. Air ride is very nice and a great upgrade from the m925.
anyone who has any questions or would like to see detailed pics i am more than welcome to post...
i will be posting pics the second it is picked up! i am excited my self to drive it home, should be a wonderful ride haha.
anyone else on here have an HET? would love to ask some questions about them
very interesting that you say that about the m1000.... i have yet to see one forsale...
hope this thread doesn't exist already
where are all the Wisconsin guys (and gals) at?
granted wisconsin does not have a great area for off roading and using our trucks, we should still get all the guys together and make a nice convoy of sorts.
chime in
well.....
been on the forums for a while now, but have not been very active. have had two vehicles in the "fleet" as we like to call it. (m925 and and air force wt-2206 oshkosh plow truck)
today i was able to score and add one more to the fleet.
m1070 HET in nice condition, should be picking...
