Well I spent the day working on the aDeuce and got some more done ;-) Worked on drilling some holes for the bumperettes that i never finished and went to Napa to get oil filters. Pulled back in to the shop and the brake pedal went to the ground aua One of the brake lines came loose and drained...
I went all redneck and cut up a horse mat like they have at Tractor Supply. And put it on the floor (about 3/4in thick) had to get longer bolts. It was a mixed blessing It cut down noise alot but i have no heater yet and it cut down on engine heat aua But i like it not slick. Ill try to remember...
Oddshott my buddy and i spent 3 diff days but prolly 30-35 total man hrs. But i think it would b wise to have some help or someone that is close. Their are lots of heavy parts and if y get stuck under something....:drool: Just not good.

395s work great but only leave you about 2in clearance between the back 2 tires I tried for bigger but their a no go w/o alot of mods :cry: ended up bobbing mine:? When we move to a bigger place I'll hopefuly get anouther and keep it 6X6 :driver:
Well for an update we got the air all fixed up (kinda broke a hose) And hooked up/bled the brakes. Now have to finish bolting down the bed and hooking up the lights and she will be ready for the winter weather we are alledgedly going to have Monday night (has been in the upper 60s)
well here are some pics the one with the bed on is when we put it on to "fit" it. Now it is cut and on[thumbzup]. Will get some more pictures tomorrow.
Well 2 days of hard work and we got the Duce cut down:-P still have to get the drive shaft done and redo the air lines will post pics later on. Not so easy to do from my phone:|
They are 395/85/20 and yea I got them localy.
Yes I am using a m105 trailer bed and springs. Realy thought about just singleing it and keeping the long bed but if it is realy reliable I may use it as a dd (I travle 6-8 mo a year and about 30k mi)
