Your last paragraph about EUC/SF97 sum up everything...going to 4 months in two weeks waiting on my SF97's, this is getting ridiculously stupid to wait 1/3 of an year for a paper work that should come with the paid receipt from the beginning anyway
GL, you should STOP selling until you catch up...
I for one got all kind of e-mails about it, I don't know if they are rumors to improve the sales or is really something behind it.....I think the worst rumor is the mandatory return of US Property, not many people want to purchase stuff that will need to return to uncle san later on and I doubt...
This is what I have (first PIC), is missing the center only.
I got a kit on eBay (second PIC) that has nothing to do with what I have, is there another model? will I be able to install it and if yes, anybody have any instructions? I cannot see anywhere where the lead electrical cable should...
I think those values are too hi, also, someone must be paid in the process to get it ready or taking whatever is not metal out and cutting it up. Also, the cost to transport it from GL to processing place and them to scrap yard..will not be cheap after all the deductions are applied and I can't...
So, if the SF97 is made by the Government to GL prior of selling date why do we need to give GL all the data from the truck? like serial number, model, GW and maker?? I still don't understand why the buyer need give this information.... THEY should have it from the start, they are the ones...
Don't know if you are looking for "slave cables"....I just got from Oshkosh Equipment, real nice ones, long, heavy duty and at a good price, they also have cheap adaptors from NATO to two pin style. They must shipped right after the phone order, real fast!
I don't agree with your logic as not everyone need to work in the trucks, I have a 1999 A3 with 3,000 miles that needs nothing and I cannot drive!!and that is getting really frustrating, also, the other 3 trucks that I have they all drive reall good too.....
First of all...the SF-97 should be...
From GL management......"" is 60 to 90 days waiting right now, we are selling 5 times more trucks than before and don't have the staff to take care this volume""
Also
""All the information we have is basically what I told you, about the fees being waived until the process time is back down to...
This is what happen to me, I called and was on hold....while on hold I went to the Live Tech Support....that told me that my request was there.....I still holding my phone and after several minutes I got a tech....well, I gave her my information just to worth all the time I was waiting for and...
Re: RE: Re: RE: Help on Year/Serial# for SF97 - Bring home p
The odometer in this 5 Ton now show just over 7,000 miles, I guess it was replaced even that it looks in the same age of all other instruments.....I guess, most important thing is....look like the whole engine is fairly new...
I need that magic help from the plate numbers Gurus ! the first plate is a M818 and the other plate is a M35A2 W/W...not sure wich is the serial number and year.
About to send 2 requestes for SF97....Now,.....if I could get the first two pending back from GL would be nice, its' being a drag...
Hello Robyn,
Is very nice to know that we have you around to listen the ongoing problems between GL and us and to try find solutions, we surely appreciate it.
I am dealing with GL for some time now with other kinds of surplus but recently I purchased 4 trucks, received 3 and another one this...
Sorry, not a good closed up pic of the valve and plumbing...I took the pic while removing the tire/wheel by myself (400 lbs) almost 2 weeks ago as the tire was not holding air (they had not installed the "O" ring!!!)
But anyway, let me know what you want to know....At start I really did not...
Re: RE: Tire Tools....
What kind of tool you use to turn those sockets? I just got my super single out on my A3 using the socket tool and bar that come with it....I must say, it drained all my energy to break the damn thing loose and I was afraid to break the bar which is a more robust set...
Trying to swap a 14.5 R 20 Michelin tire with a new tire and found out that it had no "O" ring between the rims :( ....I have no idea how it was holding any air before.
Anybody know where I can find it or have the part number for it? Allen at Berg's Tire told me that I may be able to order it...
