Sand blasting. Cleans the pant and any rust right off. took about 3 hours to do the whole trailer. used a jack on the rear to lower and my engine hoist to lift the front up so i could work on the underside.

My transmission was giving me trouble too. The guys recommended draining the trans, check for any metal, Pump in Automatic transmission fluid, put transfer case in neutral, put trans in 1 gear, Let out clutch and run for 30 min. Drain, refill with 85-90. This fixed mine. stopped the howling...
