Does anyone have experience adding weather stripping to the doors? It looks like any general door weather stripping will work to fill the gap in the door jam. I thought having the weather stripping would help keep the worm air inside the cab and the diesel exhaust outside. Thanks.
Update on my fuel system issues. I replaced the filter assembly and filter strainer assuming that would solve my fuel problem. I was wrong. The Mog was still not starting. After setting up a temporary fuel cell to feed the prime pump, I realized it was not moving fuel at all. I removed the pump...
I was trying to figure out what that gizmo on top of the fuel filter assembly was intended to do. I will go ahead and remove it. I plan to replace the fuel filters before having some Turkey.
Thank you to everyone that replayed!
More fuel system chronicles. I have owned my SEE for about 6 months. This is the first time having fuel system issues. I noticed the brown sticky slime on the bottom of the fuel tank shortly after I brought it home. The fuel tank was cleaned in place. I was never able to get it completely...
I noticed today that my tank is filled with a brown gunk that is sticky to the touch. I drained the tank and the fuel came out clean. The gunk is settled on the bottom of the tank and doesn't seem to be mixing with the fuel. I wiped as much as I could by sticking my hand in the tank but seems...
Yeah, those are the tires on my SEE and I agree with you 100%. Im looking to get new tires for both on and off road. The tires on Migginsbros's SEE do not look stock.
Having a front suspension lockout would help some but not as much as you think. The problem will still be present because the front loader is so far forward from the front axle and the rear axle is so close to the front axle. The front loader creates a lot of leverage on the truck itself that it...
Joeblow, that looks nice. Perfect for fence posts. Can you share some details on the attachment model and what modification was done to make it fit. I could use the same setup...
The front bucket does not get in the way much. You can remove the front hood with it on. I would not remove it unless there is a reason later on. Like Ahab said, I would confirm with the shipper that he will have a winch in case it does not start or move.
Thanks Rtrask, good luck with yours. Post some pictures when you receive it. I fixed quite a few electrical and hydralic issues with mine. Post any issues you have and I will do my best to help out.
Thanks Ahab, I have owned military motorcycles in the past but never trucks. I admired these vehicles for a while as my job has me traveling to many army/navy bases though out the nation. I finally had a reason to buy one being that I am starting a new home project. I was always afraid to buy...
Hi, purchased a SEE 30 days ago. I have gone through and fixed most of the issues. One of the last things is the driver's side rear tail light is not working. Changed the bulbs. I noticed the small yellow bulb symbol is illuminated on the tail light. What does this mean?
Thank you in advance.
