I wouldn't buy it!! It has cheap weak axles, its 2wd, Yes I know its a clone but why would a clone be 2wd, and have a gas motor. You can find a 6.2 diesel on Ebay for about 400 bucks. I do give him credit on the interior its very clean. And you won't get the same gas mileage with that, I get...
Very Nice, this site is one of the only ones to find people using the stuff. Everyone else is getting 1000 dollar paint on there trail rigs, just to get there paint all scratched up. It is quite stupid to do that.
I am liking these odds. I have a friend that just did one it look good and he did a crappy job, with a roller, I think with a spray gun it will be better.
I was going to buy it in the quarts so I can use my spray gun to paint it. Whidbey your truck looks really good, how is it holding up? And how long ago did you paint it?
Has anyone painted a vehicle with rustolem before? I was wondering if it looked decent? I want it in gloss, so should I add a clear coat to it? Is it durable? I need to do this paint job for cheap, so if any one else has any suggestions let me know? I am going to be using this on a daily...
You can make your own bumpers to legal height, they just need to be 4.5 inches in height, and need to cover the path of your tread, the only thing you need to worry about then is the frame height which I believe is only 28 inches.
What axels are those I have a set of them, and was wondering if they were the same bolt pattern as Rockwells?, Sorry if I stole your thread, but didn't want to start a new one for a question that is pertaining to your trucks.
I hope this is where I should post this. All of the old deuces are AM General right? I have a front and a rear that I want to put under a 80's GMC Dump Truck to make it 4X4. But what I really need to know is if the bolt pattern from the AM axels are the same as a the new deuce Rockwell axels...
2cents Ive got a 1947 Ford rat rod with alot of rust so I know a few things about this, Like BKubu said it depends on how you want it to look, I found it easier to patch it with metal, and then do some very thin bondo on it, and it turns out nice and will last longer then mesh and bondo would...
The Illinois lift law has to do on how much your trucks GVWR is the heavier it is the more lift you can have, and there is a frame lift law on the bumper law too. You are not aloud to have the body lifted of the frame more than 3 inches. I do agree on the window tint, it sucks.
I actually believe it was a bubble, because of the year, I will be going to the DMV to talk about this to them, No he got exactly what I was saying he just took it as an insult. Which I thought was funny.
kendelrio, I am not or was in the marines, I am still only 17, but been talking to my parents about joining but they won't let me and they are trying to get me out of thinking about it, so I figured I can be a coast guard like my uncle.
I remember hearing abut some one at GL with a bad experience:-P. I might of already found a different suburban anyway. But if any one has a cucv let me know still.:-D
Yeah but the funny thing was that he tried to sell me a Chevy Caprice with a huge lift on it and it had 24 inch rims on it. Lifts are for trucks not cars, the only cars that should have lifts are gassers. I laughed at him and asked if it could it could go through a mud bog. He just gave...
So went to go get the suburban today (the one that was getting the paint) and the guys employee smashed it with a forklift:cry:. To bad I didnt have a camera to show you guys either, so now im looking for a gas burban, or a cucv. Anyone have a 1008 or 1009 for sale in north Illinois.
