I will be displaying a metal tag because it is a civilian vehicle, The lift and tires was a big thing for me, what kind of army would have one of those, a pretty badass one.
I agree with drgreg completely. No I am not displaying my license plate number, it is going to be something like U.S.M.C 372-908 or U.S.ARMY 372-908. I am just trying to make it be more noticeable, Which the cops just love!
Welcome to the site. That is just it M1009 (Blazer) every body panel from a civilian blazer is compatible to a M1009, so if you need body panels you have LMCTruck.com and Ebay.
Getting stopped for impersonation is the least of my problems, it would just possible get me out of another ticket, I am putting these on my suburban with a 10 inch lift and H1 civilian rims with the 37 inch tires on it. It will be all legal hopefully, but just don't need an extra ticket.
Is it illegal to have any U.S.Army markings on a civilian vehicle, and what about something like U.S.M.C and some numbers behind it? I am looking to put some on my DD but don't really feel like dealing with the police about it. My dad had told me that it is illegal because it is impersonating...
Yeah your right I do have a bit of patience problem, Most of the diesel mechanics out here are big rig mechanics, and I have asked but have not much of an idea about the 6.2 or smaller motors. I just needed to know this to make my dad more able to buy the truck, because I don't have the money...
:oops:Yeah I just figured that they popcorn would put up more comments, so more people would look at it in stead of just passing it by. I was only thinking of putting in a gallon or so of WMO, filtered through a 5 and then 1 micron filter, would that be alright?
The only differences I know of is the the military has dual alternators and thats about it, If any one knows any more please do tell? I am hoping to gain the benefits of WMO. Thanks folks
Hey Folks, Its been awhile since I have been on here. But anyway I was wondering if all the 6.2s are IDI (Indirect Injection) motors, I am hopefully picking up a 91 suburban with a 6.2 in it and was wondering if I can wmo to it? Much appreciated.
Thank I am think about just getting one of ebay, Now some would have already got the sf-97 right?? I shouldn't have to get it one I would just have to change the registration, right?
I think I can get away with 35s on a M1009. And yes that is why I want to buy the M1008 is because of the axels and how simple it is. No radio and stuff to take out to get messed up including carpet.
