Back in October I put all new bearings & seals in front & rear axles. Took front apart to clean it up after going thru some mud (only taken front apart so far, rear axle is M35A3 so I'll check them later different style inner bearing) & it looks like it never had a seal there to begin with...

So basically I just undo tie rod, steering arm. Remove plate, sleeve housing & sleeve. Now does it just lift off or is it keyed some way in order to remove? Thanks in advance for any help.

Matt, do you know where to get inner bearings at a good price? James, I was looking at my front spindle & it looks like all they did was TIG a plate of some sort around spindle to allow air to pass through. If so couldn't I just carefully plasma or grind off the plate to reveal old mounting...

Hard to find wheel bearings for a reasonable price is one. $980 for ONE inner bearing. It's crazy.

Actually it's not really that hard to shorten the length of axles. You basically cut the tube down on each side or for the front you can some times just cut the long side. I'm looking for the SRW 14 bolt rear & Dana 60 front that are in the M1010. I'm not sure if the other CUCV's are the same width or not, if so then they'll work just as good. I think the M1010's are 63" WMS-WMS (don't quote me on that) I could be wrong about that. I just assume it because all 14...
