Back in October I put all new bearings & seals in front & rear axles. Took front apart to clean it up after going thru some mud (only taken front apart so far, rear axle is M35A3 so I'll check them later different style inner bearing) & it looks like it never had a seal there to begin with...

So basically I just undo tie rod, steering arm. Remove plate, sleeve housing & sleeve. Now does it just lift off or is it keyed some way in order to remove? Thanks in advance for any help.

James, I was looking at my front spindle & it looks like all they did was TIG a plate of some sort around spindle to allow air to pass through. If so couldn't I just carefully plasma or grind off the plate to reveal old mounting...
