Okay I have read that 11.00x20 tires is as large as one should go on stock rims, either singled or standard double. I have also read and found PICs of 14.5x20, 14.00x20 and, 395/85/20 on stock rims. So now I am confused?
Could we maybe get an accurate chart somewhere as to what tires will...
Anyone know where I can find some good tires for my deuce? I would really like to find some 11.00x20 michelins, but at this point NDCC 11.00 x 20 will work. Maybe even 9.00x20 at a good price.
I live in Central IL.
Thanks in advance.
So the duece is really cold, and does not want to turn over. Is there a way I can use my 12 volt jumper pack to jump the deuce (24volt)? I don't want to damage anything.
Need to get a deuce moved from south-western IL., to Mahomet, IL (about 165 miles) ASAP. The truck runs, but I would like it trailered.
If anyone can help, please email vtach12@mchsi.com or call me 217-840-9165
So when people talk about turning it in' flats', are they refering to the flat edges on the nut that the screw goes through? Something like 6 flats equals 1 full turn of the screw?
No, I only checked the ground wire from the switch to the frame. Now its getting really cold out too. Every thing else lights fine?? How can I check the ground all the way to the battery?
Lights worked fine before. Then noticed when the headlights are on, the driver's side is really dim. When I switch on the highbeams, the passenger side gets dim while the other looks normal. Anyone have an idea what is going on? Can't find any loose wires.
Thank you in advance.
I need to get some better snow traction than my worn 9.00 duals ASAP. Can someone give me a source for tires and or rims? What is the most cost effective route, singles? Can this be done for less than $1500.00?
