I would give the relief lever a twist, it should straighten out, and $127...what a deal, my first one came with my MKT and the second one I paid over $300 dollars for and GL knocked the control panel loose to help out!

I ended up with a heavy tow bar from a M105 trailer purchase, it was in the back under the cover and bows! I will probably never use it, but it is impressive!!!
Found a scrapped 1008 bed in a local junk yard, bed was toast but it did have a couple of antenna mounts and a base. This base is much more complex than the one I currently have on my truck, just for looks.
No Ie won't fit but how about behind the front bumper drivers side? The MEP-531A is 16 inches wide, 22 inches high and 29.5 inches long! it looks like a mod of the plate tray would only put it an inch and a half too tall for the dirvers side head light.
I will try them out, I am headed to Alaska in a few weeks but I don't think my wife would appreciate the tailgate sticking out the hatchback of our Crosstour for a drop off along the way!
