There is almost always a wrecker or crane at the shows in Michigan.
I know a couple Dave's with wreckers & a couple Dave's with Hiab's
Will one of them show up with one of them? Haven't heard a word.
Sure hope so! Loading and transfering goods is always interesting!
I hafta check out the M4:drool: (should bring mine along so I can find out what I have)
The garand ones, they full length or cut down?
I'll be looking for some tow bar pins, and to measure the sleeves on someones tow bar so I can make some for mine.
to sell
M38 skid plates
deuce front...
Basically the arm/fork rides on the throw out bearing which pushes on the fingers of the pressure plate.
Check the arm, is it connected to its pivot point? That is the only 'quiet' failure I can think of. (but I'm no expert)
I was not successful in obtaining a corporate sponsor to fund the transportation of the 31,000 lb shop trailer, or any other unique vehicle for that matter.
Heard from the Military Surplus Store in Houghton Lake today, they will be at the show as a vendor.
Last Friday while enroute to a WWII event.
I had the oppourtunity to participate in a Patriot Guard honor mission for a service at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Lack of an LEO to block traffic , had the M880 pressed into road block duty to get things rolling.
My 1st chance to visit GLNCC...
been there , done that. back there doing it again.
aside from that, I'm looking for a set of tow bar feet for 1" pins. I'm not going to make it down there but I know a few people that are going, I might be able to talk one into picking them up for me.
 No wonder I'm so broke,
Seriously, the $10, $15 & $20 dollar ones aren't too bad, a couple of the others are a bit pricey, at least they are at different times of the year.
Waiting for the new WAM web site to link to.
And now!, Back to the show.
Here's our airport...
In this pic I see black hubs & black tires, yet it would seem the rim isn't black.
I don't know the origin of this pic, is it on the Flint assembly line?
WINGS OVER GAYLORD
Friday June 15th – Sunday June 17th
Event Website: http://www.wingsovergaylord.org/
MIMVPA Historic Military Vehicle/Equipment display/bivouac set up in conjunction with the Wings Over Gaylord Air Show.
This is a MIMVPA members event, and you must be a member to...
Yea, the D60 & 14 bolt swap can be nice.
Gotta look at your end use here
36's on 10 bolts isn't that bad, it's the 3.08 gear ratio that 's bad
You'd want 3.55's or 3.73's, you will find Blazer axles like that cheaper than you'll find the m1008 / M1028 axle sets, then with 4.56's you'll want 40's...
Finally got over to the XM886A1, without a flashlight though
It has that box, no egr valve though, service manual shows an egr or speed timer ????
