Thanks, Chuck! Good Info! The boat launch at the former Air Force Beach on Van Etten Lake is just across the road from our show site. We are seeking (well Chuck is) the appropriate permits to allow amphibious vehicles (that are without a boat registration) to "swim" :jumpin:

    We need a unified voice

Me to!, But it was a group shot. 2 or 3 of my trucks were also in it, with my name in the caption. No need to reinvent the wheel, just join the MVPA and become active in it. It is no longer your fathers MVPA, it is ours!

    Rust prevention questions

Painted surfaces do not rust. If it's got a good coat of paint on it, you should be good to go. Touch up any scrapes / scratches every summer. Or throw money at covering it with something else and touch that up every summer. as already said POR15 will not stick to anything but bare metal.

    Michelin 11.00x20 tire pressure

Been running 65 psi up front and 45psi on the back 8. Have considered upping the front to 70, 60 was a little soft. This combo drives really nice on the blacktop. The 45psi out back is running empty, and mine is a M36A2 (long bed Deuce) that weighs about @ 16,000

    WWII Jeep

I have one, but you'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands to get it. Some real nice WWII jeeps show up at Greenfield Villages Motor Muster every year, right in your neck of the woods. There are a few MVPA affilates (Clubs) in the state, check them all out each has members with stuff for...
