I definitely agree with that. Wondering if I should leave it in certainly wasn't about saving the money. I'm very mechanically inclined but not a mechanic. So I guess my follow up question would be should I get my hands on more of that break in oil or just put a good diesel oil in and then...
Hello. So I had bought a Gen (power plant 803A) with only 2 hours on the rebuilds and even have the chart showing what those two hours were from. Any way I've read quite a bit and even the green tag says to change at 100 hours. My question is would you still run up to the 100 hours on the same...
How many KW are those drash Gens? I see them pop up pretty often but don't know anything about them and they don't usually talk about the gen much in the listing.
Well this is what that 400hz load bank turned out like. Not bad.. This one will test 400hz generators also. I had to bring it to work to give a real work out. None of the gens I have will more than tickle it.
It is for an 804A/B I thought that's what this thread was about. Yes BTW you can just unplug the float switch and it will not shut down on low fuel. You can run the generator out of fuel though.
I've had a similar problem. I had the guys at liquid level build me one that I haven't installed yet but it has two floats and the top float instead of having 3 inches of travel before changing state has about 3/4" so the aux pump will run more often. I paid $145 for the float. I don't mind...
Thanks guys. I will try to unthread it rather than drill. I did try a little when I had it in my hand but not very hard. I'm not sure the moisture is the problem but it can't be helping. The gauge does indicate voltage but it just pegs all the way to the right. I haven't tried setting the...
Hello.
I did end up getting an 831A and the inverter even works. Rats had lived in it and chewed through the fuel pump wire and were making nest material from the insulation but really not bad shape once cleaned up. My question is about the voltage meter. This one peggs all the way to the...
I would like to know more details about that test. But I'm glad I'm getting a good swap for mine. It can be used as it was designed and I'll have one made for it's purpose.
Still good info. I'll be getting the lead set and stuff to go with it. I've been trying really hard to find this kind of stuff and not having much luck. Now I know why they are willing to trade. I really don't have the use for the 400hz unit and the more versatile I want it to be the more I...
Lol. Of cou
Lol. Of course you have this. You really have access to an amazing amount of info. Heck I'm still glad to have it. Now I can study it for next time.
Right!! Dumb question right? So if anyone runs across another of those load banks I can cut them a deal on parts to modify it. ha ha. I have to wait approx. three weeks while they rebuild it so the suspense will kill me but I think is the right move. Thanks for all the input though.
