This one in the photo is a Yost C33, I needed some lock downs since some soldier decided a couple of half inch bolts were a better idea!. Luckily the base was still attached, the retail cost on the vice is $951 so finding one for $50-75 used is the only way to go, even if it needs a little...
I have a small Wilton that was under water during Katrina, it will be the next project. I just need to find out how to get that end cap off the vice!

Had an old vice off a wrecker that wouldn't retract the jaw, turns out it was just missing the lock screw on the big drive screw, a twenty-five cent fix, now does it go on the 818 or the 813????
I just installed a hard top on my 813, it has the factory green insulation in it, I haven't tried it for heat retention but I know it helps with the noise and it seems pretty tough compared to some other forms of insulation. I would attach pics but my sd card has taken a dump, after I tool...
Sorry, the lug nut was for size comparison, I thought about the bolts/pins for the spare but they are way larger than the lug nut! I don't know if they even go with the truck, they are very stout, along with them I found a hand full of corroded .556 spent cartridges as well?
Any one have any idea of what these parts are for? They were under the passenger seat of the M813A1 I won on GSA. I don't think they go with the truck but I am curious what they do go to? I am missing the pins that hold the rear troop seats ti the forward wood work on the bed but this pin is...

Your idea makes sense about the ammo transport with my truck since it came from a NG training camp in Florida, it has a 1970 manufacture date but looks like it went through a rebuild in the not too distant past. I need to get it home to give it a good going over.
The lashing hooks I am talking about are added hooks that have been welded to most of the in bed tie down points, I know they were unit added just by the look of the welding, But I have been pulling up some of the photos I have of 813A1s and most seem not to have the bed tie downs? There were...
The 813 I got last month has in bed tie downs along both sides of the bed, it also has lashing hooks welded to the outside of the bed, I know the lashing hooks are a field addition but were the in bed tie downs a unit addition are were they factory, I have seen beds both ways more without than...
The set on the truck are fiberglass, I just wish they had left the hard top on it! All I got of the hard top was the gasket that runs between the cab and the top.
I asked the forestry guys about the pile, he said he was on his way to the dumpster but guessed someone may be able to use some of the metal parts at least? Besides when it is in the back of a truck it is not filling up his dumpster! This is the second time I have received a set of troop...
The M813 I won last month had a load of junk and at least two sets of troop seats in the bed. One set looks like they fit the truck, but the other set looks completely different there is a metal frame along the bottom of the seats as if they bolt down verses using the pockets. I really...
