Trying to find a pic of this item. will update if possible. i bought a olive drab metal flashlight holder that held the angled GI flashlight in a vehicle. the holder went when I sold my truck. It was just a metal tube with a mounting tab on back and a cutout for the flashlight switch. Can not...
I have a nos one of these. going to sell it, just need to check make sure it wont fit my 1152A1. Bought it for my 998.
Text me if interested. Dave 832 538 6238 Thanks.
HMMWV trucks setup like this and driving the roads will eventually cause the govt to revoke all our trucks. I'm old so it wont be tomorrow but stand by.
Posted earlier about a low mile ecv truck petering out. About 1200 miles since new in 2008. Looks like never driven. Wanted to thank all the guys who posted help. Not getting fuel to filter. The fuel pump, tank sock filter were most common. Mac sent me a Chinese pump so put that off till...
Yes Sir,
I can see how these could clog up after 15 years installed. I am going to pull these first. May save a lot of extra work. The truck has about 1200 miles but did sit a lot. Great pics,
Dave
This question is for a 2008 1152 with about 1k miles. It did sit a lot at base but has been running good till losing fuel to filter. Put new filter on when bought. Rechecked that filter, has small bit of rusty looking gunk and filter dirty but replaced again. Checked a 2001 manual but did not...
This truck is kind of fighting me to get to a regular running unit. 2008 1200 original miles. Mostly in storage in my hometown mc base.
Replaced glo plug controller,/temp sensor when it started not staying lit and truck petered out a few times. Like it ran out of fuel. Put new fuel filter on...
That sounds logical. I may sense a little power drop or could be nothing. The sound is very noticable. The fan on my 998 would be nothing compared to this sound.
Does yours have a loud fan noise. When the noise is off the truck is super quiet. With it on it isn't.
Maybe putting this kit in...
When mine opens up you can tell right away. And when it closes shut it gets much quieter. Runs very nicely. My doghouse is always on.
I guess it's time for a boost gauge.
Dang...my low mile truck in more work than my 50k mile 998 for sure.
Thx
Dave
Thanks

I completed the adjustable conversion like yours. On my approx 1k mile 1152. It's better for opening but still opens some during regular flat driving at low speeds.
Have slowly been tightening it up. Now it's close to your pic. Question is do these wastegates normally open and close at...
Woof....something may be going on that I'm not aware of. Done tons of mechanical but never transmissions.
If it doesn't smooth out could buy the Delco solenoid and wiring kit. That's something I should be able to do.
Hope with less than 1200 miles it will free up after good fluid flow at temp...
Thanks for this info. I have a 2007 M1152A1. Low miles. Maybe I could just put in a new 1-2 solenoid valve. And not try the connector after all. It shifts out of 1st but takes a little too long.
