Funny thing I did was not realize the pigtails I bought were ceramic and I broke one. Oops. Then I unknowingly ordered one from a seller that was in China and it took like six weeks to get to me. Glad I don't drive mine in the dark, except at Winter when dark comes in the afternoon.
Welcome, from Southeast Ohio. Got any pics? My first privately owned military vehicle is a M939 series as well. They hold up well. Better hand your checkbook and credit cards over to the wife. Darn addictions.
Thats the exact ones I got. One of the indents for the three alignment "humps" were off a hair, but a little file work fixed that. The original bulbs that came with the octane housings won't last long on vibration, but I did have excessive vibration on driver's side which I corrected...
With no sarcasm on my part whatsoever, can someone please explain the benefit in bidding at the last minute (especially with auctions such as GL & GP and Gunbroker, where the end time gets altered with last minute bids), vs. just bidding what you are willing to pay for an item. I mean, the...
Wow, you must be one patient individual. Getting that unloader apart and/or together nearly made me blow a gasket. Whew, was I angry at the "engineers" who came up with the placement of that whole setup. My cats wouldn't even come around for hours.
Oh, by the way, did some wedging of my left...
Thank you. Just followed the link and ordered one. Mine has been staying engaged on 20° or colder days and had an audible air leak, until I would shut the truck down and drain the tanks and then restart with no problems. This never acted up when in the 30s or warmer. This is why I subscribed to...
Installed my rear air brake relay that I got from Castle Bravo. It don't leak anymore! An hour later and 108 psi primary and 104 psi secondary. That works for me! I was concerned it wouldn't pass the DOT inspection last year, but it barely did on that. Now it will with no worries.
Well, the bolt holding the line on was a little loose. Cleaned the area up real good and after tightening the brakeline bolt I pumped the brake pedal a bit hard, and no leaks. I am ready to go to Columbus and recover my M1102 and towbar kits out of Columbus now.
Well, it's a bit rough. It has sat for six years with dirt in the bed. The battery box is wasted, both steps are rusted bad, right windshield and left door windows are spiderwebbed, winch and it's driveshaft is robbed, tailgate is wasted, some rust holes in the bottom of the bed reinforcement...
Replaced the H4 headlight bulbs with new old stock Volvo bulbs picked up from ebay. These are made in Germany, so I trust them to last longer than the China made ones I had in there. I ordered a spare just in case.
