It's doubtful the ground there would have held anything. It was an abandoned cement plant. The ground and piles were sand/dust/powder/granulated slag like more than anything else. Going forward at that point would have been far worse than going out the way it went in. It wasn't very muddy but...

I run 11R20 tubes in my 11R20 tires. The right way to go! He likely does not have 11's and wants to sell what he has. The 10's might be "old" stock also. Tire guy is a salesman.

Just flop an aired up 900-20 on the slab hub facing up. Measure the distance from slab to outside of hub x2 and add to the width of a M105.

I have never had any problems running the 11R20 Michelin XZL's on my trucks and they are as large as the Goodyears. This pic shows the space and there is 10+tons in the bed.
