It's doubtful the ground there would have held anything. It was an abandoned cement plant. The ground and piles were sand/dust/powder/granulated slag like more than anything else. Going forward at that point would have been far worse than going out the way it went in. It wasn't very muddy but...
I bought an H7 and after checking it over, new batteries, filters, and fixing some air leaks drove it home 2700 miles pulling a trailer.

I have never had any problems running the 11R20 Michelin XZL's on my trucks and they are as large as the Goodyears. This pic shows the space and there is 10+tons in the bed.
