Probably a question I could find the answer to chasing my tail around in the search function but, is there a reason you didn't replace the glow plugs with the original type?
The hammer trick might work but it will come back to haunt you again. I assume these 60s have center pins like the 44s do. They're cheap but the u-bolts are where they get you. One really shouldn't reuse u-bolts.
Just read the stickies, as not doing so will earn you infractions, even if it is NOwhere in the forum rules that you must read the stickies and adhere to hidden rules!
Interesting to know. That might be a slight hazard there, so maybe no flag is best. I thought it best to be on the rear for safety and the left to adhere with the rule of the American flag being the first from left to right (the order we read).
I had only the U.S. flag on yesterday as I ran errands in town. Did get a couple respectful waves. However, I noticed I got sour looks from a few vets wearing hats designating such. This took me back to 1984 when I was riding in the vehicle that my recruiter drove to do rural recruiting work. We...
So what's the sound quality? Any descent bass? I heard a tubular boombox once that sounded like a home system with 12" subs. It is possible, and that price tag isn't too rediculous on what you spoke of.
I just went through a very similar scenerio with a set of the "certified dirty idle" stickers. They had no bar code on them and that kind of took away from them looking authentic. Sad part is I didnt notice until after putting them on the truck. I knew better, again!
I usually just "climb in" under the hood on my civy Chevys, but these inner fenders are shot. My cat would fall through the drivers side if she walked on it. Spring swap job.
That is a armored towing cable foot/shackle. MDSA was selling the cables at the rally. Now I am ready to tow my m1......
I saw them there. I thought they were way too short. Did I strike out by not inquiring? Are they longer than they appeared?
Ok. I held to my promise. One is the tow strap hook type. I picked these up at the GA rally in fresh green but the only flat rattlecan I had was black. Had to thin the tow strap one down with the grinder so my pin would go deep enough for the retaining pin hole to protrude. The regular type is...
I always take the old one off first to measure it's length and then cut both ends off and take them with me to the parts store and lay them on the counter and tell them the length.
Replaced my RR side marker light's lense. I had put all new lenses on this summer but got some overspray on this one and decided to not use any brain cells and use gasoline to take the overspray off. I knew better.
So really this picture is a before stupid move and after replacement.
I also...
New air filter. A GA rally deal. Grinded down then painted up some tow hooks and cleaned rust off and painted the pins for them too. Gotta buy some chain and retaining pins, paint them, install them, then pics will be posted.
Eh, ugly just looks tough! MVs are the only vehicles that get away with it though. But, I know where you are coming from. I keep a rattle can of tan in my lock box so I can pretty her up right after working her.
