The wipers did fail and I am having different pressures on the guages, when it is acting up. I wont bypass the valve but give it a good cleaning and run it and order a new one since they're so cheap. Any suggestions on sources?
Couldn't wait to read this as I will after all have some time today to work on the truck. Looks like this is my issue but will know for sure in a few hours. Thanks again.

So I had the truck out for a 20 mile or so test drive yesterday. This is the longest drive I had taken with the truck to date. It started raining and I ran the wipers but after a few miles they just stopped. Looked at the gauges and they were around 50 psi. I pulled over and set the parking...
Changing it out yesterday I did in fact see this truck did NOT come originally with air dryer. The bracket was well installed but clearly evident that it wasn't original. Had drilled holes in bracket to bolt up to the crossmember. Definitely done by hand and off center. Good work though.

So that's how business is supposed to be ran? Man, I've been doing it wrong all this time by treating customers the way I would want treated if I was in their shoes.
Well, I drained the tanks yesterday and when it got up to 120 today the ctis acted properly. She is good to go now in the air realm. Gonna put the new mrap dryer on soon anyway. Next up is cosmetics.
Well, the gasket was fine at it's sealing surfaces so I just reused it. Head was nice and flat (true). Them two back bolts just have a nice way of infuriating an individual trying to get them started into the head (basket). But I survived the angst with no damage to the truck or myself or my...
Ok. I got my dryer late last week and just yesterday fixed my lack of air issue with the compressor unloader. What a joy getting that top basket on that compressor. It's the getting of them two back bolts (especially the right one) just started into the hole in the basket that took 1/2 hour...
Sounds like we need GP to start moving some non rolling stock to let GL know there is competition and they are not monopolizing kings! I just don't like the way GL seems so lacking in explaining the products they are moving. It's like, take it or leave it so I usually do the latter.

Sorry, I meant M939A2. I keep forgetting they were in a learning curve with the whole M939A0, A1, A2 series. I think the A2 did come with the pure air plus from production, or was even the A2s upgraded?
I may get shredded for this one but I really recommend using that service GP recommends. They post your "job" up for bid and trucking companies bid on it. Then you take whichever company you want out of them bids. They even show feedback for each company (if they have any). I had my M929A2...
