Re: RE: My new M936A2 project
One phrase for that: Its calledn "National Guard" thats how. i found candy wrappers stuffed in the radiator resvoir and air filter. Typical don't give a s h i t attituide in some guard units. "Not mine, I don't care."
Also, I truly believe this truck snuck by a lot of folks. It was added to a GL auction a day before the auction started. it was also mislabled as a "M926A2" wrecker and didn't come up on any search. Found it by mistake and took an azz chewing from the wife because I (I mean we) had no "up...
Re: RE: My new M936A2 project
Answer to first question. I wouldn't know. I don't have much. The bank that gave me a loan for it is called a credit card which I am still paying off. Sold 3 800 trucks to get this one (including my wrecker which 54reo now owns.).
Answer to second question...
My new M936A2 project (brakes locking up)
With all this talk of 900's I felt left out of the conversation. Sorry if I am stealing some thunder Chris. I'll make it up to you in parts. I am starting this thread to show tha progression of my new wrecker. 900's are awesome. The photos are a couple...
Isn't the light switch suppost to be on the other side of the steering column??? What model M37 is that?? This one is mine. Took 3 to make this one. Worst than your original one.
Re: RE: Deuce brakes
Just got finished.
Using this idea plus going through behind with long extensions made getting the 4th bolt easy.
The MC also came out easy by removing the push rod and plug. Then DO NOT try to remove it by pulling out of the bottom but by moving out from the side...
Talk about perfect timing. I am going through the exact samething right now with my truck. I stopped at that #4 bolt (good stopping point for that day). I was trying to decide the best avenue for the last bolt. I am glad you posted when you did. I thought it was common practice just to...
I just got finished reading the full contract and terms and conditions. They're joking right???? Who in thier right, sane mind would ever agree to a contract like that. I concur, it would not be benefical for even the big dealers to buy trucks in this manner. GL must be smoking some wacky...
If GL really wanted to increase sales and start moving trucks out, they would only need to get rid of some of thier crappy policies. First of all, when you limit loadouts to only 1 day a week, your cutting your customer base significantly. Secondly, LOADOUT ASSISTANCE is a MUST (to me this has...
From Integrated Publishing Reference you can download all 6 900 series TM's for just 9 bucks. For $9 a month they allow you to download 10 TM's a day. Best money I ever spent on manuals. They're are 6 1000 page each TM's you need for the truck. Love the MERDC camo.
By the way, they are still calling me and sending emails to pick up a truck at a site that I had pick up over a month ago. I told them I would be glad to pick up another truck if they want.
This charging the credit card as soon as the auction ends without the EUC clearing is a bunch of B u L L S hi t too. I pay for something that I cant even pick up. They are worst than a bunch of politicians. Oh, I forgot. It's owned by a friend of one!!!
The NG guys shoved candy wrappers in the radiator surge tank and air cleaner when I got my M936A2 from Montgomery. I think it is a NG thing to not give a s h i t about trucks that are not yours. The national guard's attituide toward equipment and gear sucks.
