Sorry that I haven't replied. I appreciate the info. I've been busy working. My back set of seatbacks were just laying there loosely. I'll have to check to see if they aren't laying in the seats.
I've got the 2 man set up. My back passenger seat backs are not secured to the floor. I haven't found any diagram on proper position and how they are secured. If anyone has any pictures or a TM reference where it shows/states how it is supposed to be secured, that would be great.
83" of clearance will get you. I had the same questions and concerns when my EUC cleared earlier this month. I rented a trailer with 83" of clearance inside the fenders. The wheels rubbed but it fit. You will need a really good spotter. I was also concerned about the weight but the trailer...
********************UPDATE**************************
The deadline for participation is Aug 22nd. Those participating will have to submit their drivers license info for special base access. Those that are confirmed on attending will receive instructions on how to do so.
I've been asked by the folks at the Little Rock Air Force Base to see if I couldn't find anyone interested in displaying their MV during their Military Expo on Sept 17th. Staging is on the 16th. If you want to participate please let me know. I need a head count by Aug 12th.
That sucks that they limit it. I'd like to do that run but its so far out and so much could happen between now and then for me to commit. I wonder what they would do if you followed anyways. :D
I don't know why they even charge tax. GL never did and it made it much easier when registering a vehicle. If they are being forced to charge tax then at least come up with a form to fill out so you pay tax for your area. That's my biggest concern is paying double taxes on a large purchase...
I'm looking at a vehicle in another state on govplanet, and the other state's sales tax is higher than my state. I have read govplanet's sales tax collection procedure but it still isn't making too much sense.
I have read this part:
How do I obtain a sales tax refund or pay for an increase...
I couldn't have said it any better. I know a few years back, I was trying to spearhead some good legislation for MVs in Arkansas. Of course I had no help from my state chapter of the MVPA. I ended up just letting it go because it was too much work for one person and I didn't have the time to...
Welcome from Benton. You'll find that there is a lot info on here and a lot of good folks that are willing to help out. Hopefully we'll see you at Petit Jean or at other events.
I would have to say a Fluke as well. I have used other meters throughout my career but in my opinion nothing beats a Fluke. They are far worth the cost.
Dang... sorry that I didn't make it. All my plans this weekend went to crap!!! My wife's grandma ended up in the hospital Friday, and my aunt passed away so that messed up the weekend. It looks like a good turn out.
I'll probably go. I guess I should see what all I have to do to register. I know that the kids and I have had a blast at the last couple convoys in Russellville.
I had never thought of this. Thanks for sharing. I'm doing this to all my trucks. I'm tired of adjusting mirrors and the dents/scratches on the door from the mirror.
If you need some assistance, holler at me. I have dealt with that GL site and Sherman is an awesome guy. I actually contemplated bidding on the one missing the PCB.
