    How to lock up / secure a M35 A3 ?

I cant find anything but video game stuff when searching Mad Max, but thinking this was a series of hidden toggle switches, maybe even Max’s original interceptor set up similar? This could actually be easily be done fairly practical, a mix of N/O, N/C and or three position switches in series...

    How to lock up / secure a M35 A3 ?

If I go through that much trouble, I’m going to make it self destruct with the wrong sequence. Hopefully it will take the thief out with it, or put me out of my misery for having to try and keep track of another “password”…

    Haspin 2024

Had another run in with them last summer at Hocking Hills, if the little buggers could learn to keep their hands to themselves we would get along just fine… photo probably too graphic to share here.

Rats no, raccoon’s yes, they’ll have the place scavenged clean within minutes of Chucky passing out every night.

What does the M37 bed weigh?

IIRC the deuce guys got down to nearly every part, 5 ton… not so much! Seems like bed and cab were the most sought after weights.

What does the M37 bed weigh?

Well you might as well start an m37 parts weight list thread when you get around to it! I know theres 2-1/2 and 5 ton parts weight threads around here somewhere…

What does the M37 bed weigh?

Plenty of cheap hanging scales on Amazon or elsewhere that will get you close enough, test with a known weight, then start picking your bed and stop if the scale hits 495lb.

    alternators and water..

I’ve had a few off-road rigs that the alternator spent almost as much time under water and mud as out of it. Yes I went through and rebuilt a few, but don’t ever remember distinctively killing one just because of submersion.

Getting started from scratch with a Deuce in 2024?

M939 with singles will run just under 70mph. IIRC the M35a3 struggles to make it to 55

bought mrap wheels and tires but have different lug pattern

Before you buy adapters or mount any tires mock one of those up one the front. I think that may be one of the variants that has too much backspace and hits the tie rod end. When mocking up remember your adapter will space the rim out 3/8”-1/2” depending on the adapter thickness…

    Battery replacement

Can you post a picture now that your batteries are back in, if I’m looking at the pic with them out correctly I think the small wires could still be drawing 12v off the one battery even with your disconnect between the batteries in the off position. I don’t think a disconnect between the...

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

You all are really making a mess of specific titled threads lately. Maybe one ot the main offenders could create or find an appropriately titled tread, then tag a moderator advising them what post number to start at to strip the chaff out of this thread, or just dump it in one of the generic...

Complete newbie question about trailers for hauling vehicles and equipment

A civy car hauler is most likely your best bet, I think the m1061 is way to much for your current truck, but if you’re dead set on a military trailer check out an m353, your tractor may be small enough to fit with some modification.

    From fire truck to MTV

You might consider getting rid of at least half of the springs/bolts and installing some guides or link arms to keep the box from shifting to the side or front to rear under extreme forces.
