New ongoing opportunity upcoming to move my Expedition Campers across US

Hello, I will be opening my company quite soon, supplying Composite Expedition Campers for trucks. These campers range from slide-in F150 size campers up to about 30'x8'x8'. Some mount on military trucks, etc. I am only looking for professional acting people who treat my customers well. I limit...

Standard Test Equipment port (A0's and?... why/why not utilize this more than we are doing now.

An interesting discussion would be "what are the possible engine swaps for an LMTV?" C7's are pretty plentiful, thus you can get one fairly cheap, but it would be interesting to hear what else might fit. Like the larger Cummins, or an older L series, big cam, etc. That kind of thing. If someone...

I get a bit nervous when I hear "Scope on a rope". I definitely will not be bending over to pick up my phone 🤣

Cat C7 Life Expectancy Engines are measured by a two-category system called the B10 and the B50. The first category indicates how many engines will fail at a certain mileage mark. The 10 stands for 10% of the engines will fail prior to reaching the B50 mile mark. The 50 in the B50 stands for...

AdeptApe has a youtube channel where he talks about the pros and cons of each CAT engine. Maybe a hyper maintenance program would allow it to run longer. He would be the guy to ask. FYI New FMTV's made by BAE had a Cummins.

Just to be clear, a Powerprobe should never be used on the outputs on an ECM / ECU/ electronic brain like on a 3126. The Picoscope is pretty much safe. Then again, come to think of it, you don't have to worry about the 3126, since they are best used on the bottom of the ocean keeping ships from...

I tried one of those yellow multi-meters once. I couldn't get it to work right. Maybe it was just a Fluke. :ROFLMAO:

For the basic 12 and 24 volt stuff on my truck, I use the PowerProbe 3. Not expensive. A used Picoscope pretty affordable. Check Ebay. Accessories for Picoscope are WAY cheaper from Hantek. Hantek has a pretty good scope too. Practical for FMTV owners? LOL Is a 2.5 or 5 ton military truck...

I would agree that an AO at first glance, would not provide much electrical data. This is where the scope World has really grown. It is a long way from the original Sun and Snap-on automotive scopes. Lets face it, most of us don't need a scope can hear that something is off. We can diagnose the...

Standard Test Equipment port (A0's and?... why/why not utilize this more than we are doing now.

Not familiar with the ICE boxes, but their diagnostic capabilities sound very basic. I use a Powerprobe and Picoscope for my ICE deep dives with a schematic. I use a Picoscope a fair amount diagnosing the delicate stuff, but am no expert. I use the tools pressure sensors, pulse sensors, magnetic...

Anyone have picture of properly mounted air brake load sensor valve on an m1088?

Just need a quick picture of how this brake load sensor is mounted. I took the 5th wheel off and am trying to recall where it was mounted. Thank you in advance!

Have your CAT had its Asphaltene today???

I have a m1088 tractor and a tractor. The issue showed up on my Mitsubishi tractor, but since I thought it was relevant, I thought I would share it here. No, sorry this is classic asphaltene. It matches the characteristics of asphaltene consistency and solvency.

Anyone have picture of properly mounted air brake load sensor valve on an m1088?

I need to re-attach the load sensor air brake valve on my M1088. Anyone have a picture of this mounted that I can use as a reference? Thank you in advance!

Have your CAT had its Asphaltene today???

I was unaware of this nightmare contamination that can occur in diesel fuel. It showed up on my diesel tractor, but I think it is relevant here. I was driving my diesel tractor and it suddenly lost RPMs and died. I thought, maybe water in fuel. The fuel filter had collapsed and there was...

    3126 w/ABS vs 3116

Yes, you are right. We live in unstable times. The Corp Masters are in lock sync with the G /lobal E /lites.

Absolutely! The predictive data was wrong! LOL The "Elastisity of Change" (World instability) is too great right now.
