67 With an 87 Multifuel - Got Some Questions

You should be getting close to 28 volts when running the engine at 1200 rpm. 25 to 27.5 volts depending on adjustment.

    Can this be repaired?

Mine was leaking right onto the turbo. I just bypassed it. I have no problems starting on a cold day without the flame heater.

I will have to tow 1031A - Anyone tried (what do you think) a tow dolly?

Looked like a capable truck. I would've driven it.

Yep. Not much to that brake system, just a lot of big pieces parts to deal with.

Hey neighbor! Welcome from sunny Seville! Looks like a pretty good truck. I've had mine for 8 years now, (bought it fairly local but was able to drive home). I'm always figuring out what to do next to my truck. Just as long as I've got the cash. Let me know if you need a hand with something.

Congratulations! Square body Chevy, you can't go wrong! And a retired military vehicle to boot! Double points!

Welcome from Ohio! That cut van body makes an eye turner with the wheel wells for a cargo bed. Some new heavy duty hinges on the "tailgate" and it'll be like brand new. Enjoy your truck!
