    Our MTVR camper:

Thanks, Mark, but we're not mounting our box to the frame of our MTVR (like you did with your Freightliner). We are mounting our box to the flatbed of our MTVR. The flatbed of MTVRs come with a torsion-free mounting system consisting of 16 long bolts on coil springs and rubber-like bushings...

    Our MTVR camper:

Five layers of epoxy on the roof, and routered the back, where the drawbridge is going to nest into. We have some more filling and sanding to do on the sides and front, and then we'll start laying down the rest of the exterior epoxy...

    Our MTVR camper:

We put down the first few layers of epoxy on the roof a few days ago. We sanded it last night, and we plan to lay down the final coats of epoxy on the roof today. We've also sunk 12 of the 28 bolts mounting the box to the truck bed.

    Our MTVR camper:

All the external plywood is glued and screwed, with exception of the drawbridge. Almost all of the edges and corners are rounded with the router. We're now working on filling and sanding, prior to laying down the epoxy.

    Our MTVR camper:

Thanks, but we haven't even installed the drawbridge rear door/balcony/ramp, generator, solar, ductless mini-split heat pump, motorcycle garage, loft bed, Japanese Ofuro soaking tub, custom-made gun safe, or any of the other fun stuff yet...

    Our MTVR camper:

We now have a roof! We supported all of the rafters while screwing on the roof to make sure that there is no sag, and we will leave the supports in until the urethane construction adhesive has bonded them in that shape.

    Our MTVR camper:

Installed the 3/4" plywood with screws and urethane construction adhesive, on the exterior of the front wall yesterday. We are planning to do the same on the roof today...

    Our MTVR camper:

The bed is pretty rigid, and bolting our box to it will make it even more so. That torsion-free mounting system will handle any flex.

    Our MTVR camper:

Are you asking about the articulation of the suspension, or the flexing of the truck's frame? Because there won't be any flex in the truck's flat bed or our box...

    Our MTVR camper:

Windows all in. The last window (the one for our loft bed bedroom area) was almost too tall for the 16-foot ladder that we were using. The sun is overhead now, so we're gonna pack it in early.

    Our MTVR camper:

Got three of the four windows installed. Forgot to take any pics. Hope to install the fourth window tomorrow, and then maybe start installing the exterior plywood.

    Our MTVR camper:

Near as we can tell, it's about 13'2" to 13'3" tall right now. Our low profile roof vent/fan and solar panels will add about 3" to that. By the time we complete the build and move in, we may get about 2" of suspension compression. It is our goal to be under 13'6" so that we can visit the eastern...
