We got the spray foam in before the sun came over the trees. The floor is now completely airtight, R-24 insulated, and monstrously strong. We just have to trim the rest of it after it dries.
My wife is stoked- her goal for today is to get the subfloor glued and screwed on by 2100 hours tonight...
A lot of people who have been in crashes have no idea what happened, and confabulate an explanation.
One that I have heard MANY, MANY times, is a Harley owner claiming that he "had to lay 'er down" to avoid a crash (apparently not realizing that falling down IS a crash), when in reality what...
Sorry, I still don't understand your question. The entire structure will be screwed and glued together with a fantastically strong urethane constructiom adhesive.
It's just about 100 degrees out right now- I'm not sure how much work we're gonna be able to do between the onset of shade (around 1900 hours) and losing our ambient illumination (sunset-ish).
I did pick up a belt sander today- I suspect we're gonna be using it a LOT...
Installed most of the floor insulation this morning. Had to stop when the sun got overhead, as the reflection off the foil was blinding us. We may try to get the rest in tonight after the sun gets low...

Hopefully we're gonna be able to get started on the floor insulation after the sun...

If you look underneath the platform on the driver's side, you will see that the leading edge is not supported as well as the trailing edge. We did add some stiffness to the trailing edge, but we have not done anything about the leading edge yet.
The scissor stairs are on quick release pins and...
Spent most of our day running errands, but after dinner my wife and I fabbed up a drop-down for the mounting bracket for our $440 Torklift aluminum scissor-folding stairs.
We're planning to buy another mounting bracket (and maybe even a third one) to mount under the cab door(s).
