    Making the Speedometer Accurate?

    the mile markers are accurate both by time and GPS. I have the speedometer set for accurate speed as this is a safety thing and $$$ not getting a speeding ticket. I have seen clams to 7-9 MPG but I wonder how they are measuring. I don't think the military cares too much for an accurate odo/
