M1075 a1 atly
I am not scared. She is code named A.T.L.Y. for (All Terrain Land Yacht). She has ice cold A/C. Street Legal plates. even a EZ Pass Toll lane tag. I found a M1076 A1 trailer, and an LHU. Next photo will be her all loaded up with two 20' shipping containers. With the...
Used M1074/M1075 PLS for Sale
Yes, I had 3 of the VERY few M1074/M0175 PLS units ever sold to the public. I sold one, and have two left. I would consider selling one more for the right price. I also have two LHU container hook attachments. The M1075 A1 is my favorite vehicle to drive. It...
If it was up to me... I would create a HEMTT/PLS/OSHKOSH 8X8, 10X10 specific thread/forum/area. Yes I know it would be a lot of work to move things around, but I would open up the ability to START threads in that specific area, then let the natural evolution of existing threads be moved upon...
Yes it had a very high reserve, so it took a few tries to get the reserve down. I saw the flat racks, but they were quite far, and I wanted to get the truck first. I am on the prowl now for flat racks and some M1076 trailers.
Today I got the 2011 Oshkosh M1075 A1 PLS 10X10 home. She is a dream. Compared to the 1991 M1074 with the Detroit the C15 sounds much different. Both the engine and transmission do not feel like they are trying so hard to move the vehicle down the road. The independent suspension is much...
I have been watching for these M1076 Trailers or any others. Anyone here know where I can find some M1076 trailers for sale? I now have two M1074's running that need trailers.
So here is the latest update. I took the M916 and a Step deck from Richmond, VA to Whitehall, OH to pick up the first M1074. The motor on the M916 started to smoke heavily. I limped it into the Cummins dealer in Whitehall, OH. After digging we determined that the motor suffered from "Lot Rot"...
I know this is an old thread, but now it is even more relevant! If we take all the HEMTT owners, and add those MK, and PLS guy's. Maybe lump in the others that own anything with a 8V92, we should have a great group to share in a dedicated section here. I know the push back from the ones that...
Yes, but we could start from this point and time and slowly move past stuff if necessary. I do not see a lot of HEMTT and MK or PLS stuff yet. Before it gets all mixed up also, let's start a heavy truck forum. We still know how to search for the older stuff.
So my CPL # is 393 which I am told is 14.5 to 1 compression. I drove to Whitehall, OH to pick up the M1074 10 X 10 and the M916 started to smoke excessively and was way down on power. The Cummins dealer tore into the motor to find scoring on the liners #2 and #6. Their best guess is "Lot Rot"...
