    Deuce Tires and Rims

I did find the "FLAP" in TM 9-2320-209-20P (Fig 133, Item 8). When I disassembled my wheel, I broke the flap with my pry bars, so I have been searching to find a new one. I haven't yet taken the time to see if I can find it on the internet. This part may be available at a truck stop or truck...

    Deuce Tires and Rims

I finally got one (of eleven) of my wheels disassembled. I now understand the duckbill bead breaker tool as well as the value of either WD-40 or soapy water. It took a bit, but once the bead was broken on both sides, it was a simple matter to remove the split ring. I had never taken apart a...

    Broken Lug Wrench

This is GENIUS! I would have NEVER figured this out on my own. Perhaps that is what someone as done with the hubs on my parts truck.

    Broken Lug Wrench

I am not sure what "flipping the hubs" means. I don't see how that would work. I did notice that the hubs on my daily driver are completely different than the hubs on my parts truck. Both data plates show these trucks as M35A2s. I have attached pictures of these hubs. Can someone explain...

    Broken Lug Wrench

After watching the video, I am sold on this torque multiplier tool. I found a system on Amazon for under $60.00. I have to wait to order it, but I am excited to try it. The product description stated that the sockets are metric. I am guessing the 38mm socket will fit the front tires and the...

    Broken Lug Wrench

OK.... I have heard of this tool, but where does a person get this thing and how does it work? I am willing to try ANYTHING.

    Broken Lug Wrench

thank you guys for the GREAT ideas. It never occurred to me to remove the entire assembly and take it to a shop. I will do that tomorrow. I will also bring a lug and thimble nut to Napa to see about a replacement tool.

    Broken Lug Wrench

I was trying to remove my inner dual today when I broke my tire tool. Apparently, the thimble nuts are either rusted in place or so over-torqued I can't break them loose. It seems I will have to get a new tool. I tried to weld the cracks, but my welds didn't hold and it broke again...

What did you do to your trailer today.

Please let me know how they work out for you. I would like to do the same to my trucks.... Thank You....

    Wiring Harness Question

My deuce doesn’t have a heater, so I have no idea if the CAD drawing is correct. I have nothing with which to compare. If I were to install a heater though, I would draw power from the master switch to power a relay only, getting power to the blower motor from an alternate source.

    Wiring Harness Question

I did indeed complete the wiring harness. I wrote down every step and have built an outline on what to do, how to do it, how long to makes the additional wires, etc. I didn't take any pictures, but I think it worked out pretty well. I was going to create a PDF file from my write-up and post...

    Alternative Wire Marking Method

    Alternative Wire Marking Method

I tried the thermal labels using my P120 label maker, but in my case, they peeled away from the wires. I thought my wires might be oily, so i wiped them with paint thinner, but it didn't make any difference.

    Alternative Wire Marking Method

Locating the tiny wire number tags is daunting. I have reused the metal tags as often as I can, but it seems that lately, the tiny aluminum legs are breaking off and attempts to find and purchase new tags has ended in failure. So.... to mark my wires, I have been printing the wire number...

    Wiring Harness Question

Using the CAD file provided by Mr. Peter Bog, I recreated the wiring harness for my truck in CorelDRAW. I have attached it as a PDF to this message if anyone is interested. If you're a CorelDRAW fan, I can send you the source file if you want it. Just let me know.

    Wiring Harness Question

That's what I have been doing as well. I did find a company that makes them, but you have to order hundreds at a time. Fortunately, you can choose the numbers you want stamped into them. With my deuce, I am guessing that I would need about 20 different numbers, but I have never bothered (yet)...

    Wiring Harness Question

OK all…. I have been busy studying both the harness existing in my truck and the harness that I purchased. Thankfully, Mr. Peter Bog created a CAD drawing of the wiring harness for the M35A2. I have been pouring over this drawing for the last several weeks. I went so far as to recreate the...

Fuel pressure switch location - M35A2

I suppose a person could hit the starter switch with their knee, but I have never done it either. I wasn't sure if there was any other reason to have this part in my truck. I think I will delete this switch from the schematic that has been specifically tailored to my truck.

Fuel pressure switch location - M35A2

I too have been working on my wiring. I found this "Fuel Pressure Switch" on the schematic, but I wasn't able to locate it on my truck. I figured it was something to do with the fuel system (because of it's name), so I searched the entire fuel line, from the than to the injector. I never did...
