At least you have a tractor, it's fairly short. My dump truck is the same wheelbase and you can tell it's teetered at least once.

If you are running stock rims with the inside rim off the truck, you are putting some additional wear on those bearings. I'm not sure that a narrower rear footprint makes much difference in ease of turning. If you flip the hubs and reverse the rims you will be placing the load directly over...

What rims are you running? It has everything to do with hubs.

The guys on here were all but certain that a regular truck couldn't do it on a tow bar. No mention of trailer ever happened.

I have one of these bolted to one of my pintle hitches. Once I put the pintle in the receiver I just plug in the pollack connector into the truck and plug the trailer into the plug on the pintle.
