Long time now rant! Ha~!
So when the engine failed well over 1 year ago I had just filled up the tank.
Some of the fuel was siphoned off but there was still 50 gallons in the tank.
FAST FORWARD and I find I have a LOT of Algae in the fuel and we also have
a thick syrup that is dark brown...
THANK YOU for the reply and please excuse me for not getting back
to you sooner, I did see your reply and just got lax...
I saw that info... I still could not find anything other than REPLACE FIXTURE!
Maybe some day I will run into someone who has a decrepit can w/ some parts.
Thanx Again!
... Just for ships and giggles
Project Tilt Trailer is coming along nice.
Almost done w/ stairs to command module. I drew stringers in AutoCAD and had
sendcutsend.com cut them for me out of .375 ALUM and grabbed
some McMaster steps and some framework and Viola!
Adjustable legs in the works.

I have an 8' x 10' Ridgid shelter I need all the TM's for it ;

BATTERYS and FUEL ISSUE
So the truck has been sitting while I rebuild my trailer.
I went to start the truck and it turned over and over and right before
the old batteries went kaputt she started to fire and then it started.
This killed the old batteries, and I assume the engine was not...
This is what I ended up with.
I added a center 3" x 3" x .250 wall support underneath
and I axed the origional vertical support and made my own.
The reason for the vertical is you not supposed to pull from
the top of a winch.
WARN Series 18 18,000 Military Winches
I picked up 2 of these bad boys some time back. I think they were on MRAPS /
Buffalo type trucks. I needed some springs for the Anti Birds nest tension plate
and dang, they averaged $20 EACH plus ride! I took some measurements and
pulled the trigger on a...
Jon ,
Allow me to interject here for your safety and others bro.
That is an 80,000 lb rated towbar if I remember right. It is a BEAST!
I can not safely lower it nor raise it alone and I am a pretty big boy.
It is really heavy. Your strap WILL FAIL! Plus it will bounce and you
do not need...
ONE MAN'S TRASH...
_So we went from a Big Cam 1 to a Big Cam 3 and w/ the BC3 there
is no LuberFiner 750 used. I went w/ my initial idea of converting
that tank into a WindShield Washer Fluid Resivoir and by golly, all
my thoughts came together and it works! Remember I have installed
an A/C...
The 10" channel is about .262 thick.
There are 8- M12 bolts thru the bottom.
I ordered some proper oversized washers for the 8 M12's.
The rear strongback got upgraded to 2.5" x .25" square tube...
All welds, top and bottom are to be uniwelded.
Darn thing is heavy Ha~!
Here is the bottom of...
The plan right now is to add a piece of 2" x 2" radius corner'd tailer hitch tube
along the rear edge for more support. To be stitch welded top AND bottom.
The front edge will be uniwelded to trailer's channel .
Plus the .375" mounting plate / armorment.
So the TILT trailer I am fixin' up for my M916 is getting a winch.
I bought two of those 18,000 lb WARN Seris 18 winches
a few years ago and now I have a use for one.
I need to fab up a proper mount. I obtained a piece of 2" x 10" channel
that is about 2.5" tall and is 37.625" long. I boxed...
Steering Wheel Repair
So I called a couple of steering wheel repair shops and the prices
were astronomical to putty up my ring cracks and fractures in
the Bakelite 20" stock steering wheel and I have given up looking
for a new one. I told a buddy about my plight and he recomended
I get a...
So, I decided to bite the bullet and get all new tires for my
trailer. I shopped them HARD! I ended up w/ 9-235/75/R17.5
tries for $565.65 "DELIVERED FREE" Total, Out the DOOR!
16ply, Load Range M 5675lbs each in a Dual Config
So that is a 45,400 load rated tires on 2 axles that are rated at...
