Welcome, from Alabama! And congratulations on your new "to you" truck. I look forward to seeing some pics, when you're able to post them. This site has some awesome people, and a lot of good advice. Glad you could join us.

Thanks, everyone for the suggestions and idea sharing. You've given me some things to ponder. They're all good ideas too. I'm thinking that finding a bench seat shouldn't be too difficult if I go that route. I would really prefer to add a narrow/shallow middle seat, so I can keep the 2 spring...
I have tried searching the forum for info, but the search engine won't allow any words shorter than 4 letters, which really limits my options. I bought my deuce with two spring seats already installed. They're comfortable for two people, but I want a 3rd seat. Does anyone have an idea for a...
Welcome to the forum, from Alabama! Sounds like your truck definitely fits into the "mods and hot rodding" category. Please do post some pics, folks on this forum love eye candy.
I'm thankful that yall made it through that ordeal safe and sound. Seems like you were well prepared, I can't even imagine a fire that intense. Glad your truck made it there safely too. Take care
Mark,
Welcome to the site, from Alabama. Thank you for your service, Sir. That's a nice "spread" you have there, and a very clean looking M1078. Steel Soldiers is a great community I hope you enjoy being a part of it.

I agree that Deuces for sale are getting more scarce. That was the main reason that I went ahead and bought mine this past March instead of waiting for a better truck/deal. Here in Alabama and surrounding states I see asking prices of 5K and up in good running condition. Of course prices depend...
A few more pics of my M35A2. She's not perfect, but to me she represents all of the brave souls who have fought and who still fight for our freedom. There are many great candidates for MVOTM this time. Best of luck to you all!
Hi, Michael and welcome to the forum. Here is a good thread to read when purchasing your first Deuce https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/so-you-want-to-buy-a-deuce.128479/
I'm new to this hobby too, I purchased my first Deuce in March of this year. You're in the right place for advice. Good...
