    G749 preservation

I'm guessing that Winter is back, for this year anyway. I got two old hockey buddies who now live in Anchorage, one in-town and one outside the city, and they tell me the temperature there currently is mostly plain "nothing" (zero).

Hmmm..do you like low flying aircraft?....then here ya go!

Stumpy looking airframe, kind of brings to mind a bobbed deuce and that whole stubby look.

Well, I guess tht was it then: - We were booking along over the Atlantic about 60 above the water. It felt like we were REAL close, and I guess we were! I just kept eyeballing the Loadmaster. As long as he didn't seem concerned I figured we were okay. It was so LOUD inside that thing that...

What did you do to your trailer today.

English might be one of the hardest languages to learn: - Its weird, it can be understood through tough thorough thought though

    New to me WC63

It might be the same product sometimes used for coating air-compressor tanks: - Maybe try a search for that product, see what you get

What did you do to your trailer today.

OHHHH, I got it now, just a little hiccup in the many subtleties of language: - in European usage a house trailer is called a "caravan" - In U.S. usage a bunch of vehicles travelling together (in a group) is what's referred to as a "caravan" Language is slippery stuff!

What did you do to your trailer today.

Greetings, RobM36A2, glad to hear you got the price you wanted for your sale, it's great when you can feel happy! Just curious, what exactly is the make-up of your "small caravan", are you meaning the M36A2-and-trailer?

While in the Seabees, our battalion had a deployment to NAS Rossevelt Roads in Puerto Rico, the Navy flew us down in C-130's from Andrews AFB in MD, and about half-way there our ship had an engine fire. Pilot killed the fire, feathered the prop, and took us down right on top of the deck (or at...

What are your experiences with GovPlanet?? Good or Bad

That works sometimes, it sure does: - Such an old concept that it's even Scriptural, a bible passage of the Pentateuch (old Testament) - Called the story of the Unjust Judge, or the story of the Persistent Widow Can't recall the chapter and verse, but it's there short-and-sweet

What are your experiences with GovPlanet?? Good or Bad

All this sounds pretty much like total condemnation of the whole operation and enterprise. Wonder if the award of their operating contract was some kind of "no compete" award. Sure sounds like it: - Has all the smell of insider trading/ cronyism Like why should they care, nobody appears to be...

    1941 K18-C GMC Recovered today

It was a "kind of a crime", but understandable, sure, entirely: - The leadership was focused on the business of the company, the volume and profitability. That makes sense. Concerns about historic record and preserving the old stories? That didn't bring in any cash-flow. So no one to blame...

Show your 5 tons in the snow.

Knowing what needs to be done, and finding the shop that can do it IS a skill. Nice work.

How did you make the radius in the two blade-halves, some big kind of a brake or something?

Show your 5 tons in the snow.

Four foot of snow is plenty and that's the truth. You live in sure enough serious snow country, Davidb56!

Show your 5 tons in the snow.

Some bud in NJ is building year-round indoor snow "mountains" using old shopping malls for the venue: - The whole grooming problem just goes away I'm guessing... Crazy, right?!
