It was just over a month. I was thinking it was time to email, having politely waited a bit, and when I emailed they replied in two days with a tracking number.

Got Baby a new hat, er, I mean I installed a new Soft Top from Breton Ind. Looks great. Wasn't near as hard as I'd expected to reuse the front pillar bracket.

+1 for sigo's comments about replicas and broken units for display, not hard to find and prices aren't horrible.
sigo, I'm using a Clansman PRC-352 purchased off ta_shunca_uitco off eBay. It's a manpack, so I had to make a bracket to hold it in the HMMWV. I did buy his vehicle mounting...
I use a Clansman, surplus from the UK. They are the least expensive options readily available, though not "period-correct".
Also, incidentally the ARRL are not conducting FCC license testing at this time. So it's not possible to get a license at the moment. However, papakb's statement is...
Spinning opposite each other when turning one tire manually is normal. It sounds like a transfer case problem. Have you tried disconnecting the front propellor (i.e. drive shaft)? If the T-case output yoke doesn't turn when the propellor is disconnected and engine running/in gear, the T-case...
Anybody know a source for Mirror Lite? They only list school bus distributors on their website. I’ll email them I suppose, if no one knows a good source.

I bought a $170 set of eBay mirrors last year and while they seem to be holding up I second complaints that they are difficult to keep positioned (no detent inside the mount to remember their position when bumped) and the mirror face is not perfectly flat so I get some fisheye around the edges...
Pretty slick, but how much did all that cost? Biggest advantage I can see is that the replacement flasher if you ever need one is easier to get and cheaper.
Otherwise, it sure looks like more than the $40 for a military solid state replacement version.
I do admire your work though, it's much...
+1 hummer knowledge base. Also when stumped you might email/call Hummer Parts Guy. He's very knowedgable and just as helpful. His prices are high at times, but he only sells true OEM parts. I've spoken to him a few times. He's a one man show, so if you call don't hog his time!

Heater core hoses? The core itself? Mine seeps, and I need to replace it. I just HATE replacing heater cores.
Other than the core, the other connections you can see to visually check (if I recall correctly).
Failing that, it could be degradation of one of the visually-OK hoses at the...
I second the advice to investigate all your wiring for both the turn signals and the headlights. Sure sounds like a short somewhere. Don't forget to look INSIDE the headlamp cavities, behind the LED headlights. There are connections there too. On my rig the connections inside the hood, the...
