There is no title in NY for that vehicle , in NY it is a TRANSFERABLE registration . Titles are for 1972 and up vehicles . He should have it registered HX . Should be no problem to get it registered in NY as HX , best deal in NY !
Looks like a nice ride . Did you drive it yet ? All the big stuff has been done already . Price seems very reasonable . As Jeepsinker said , buy it ! good luck !
Yes , Mules have a 3 speed + reverse trans and a 2 speed HI/LO transfer case . Pretty sophisticated for a 1950's MV . Braking is a drive line brake drum .
Seems high . Remember you are buying somebody else's BOBBER job . I agree with Jeepsinker , there are a lot of M35's around , take your time and buy the RIGHT one , much better in the long run . Remember it's all TIME any Money , YOURS . good luck
M274 Mule , 1/4 ton 4WD utility vehicle used in Vietnam a lot , sort of a early Military version of a ATV .
2 cyl Hercules air cooled , nifty unit , with out the dog though ! LOL

4BT is fairly common , MSeries Rebuild for one does those installations . I have also seen the 6BT . What exactly do you want to do with your M37 ? You can put pretty much ANYTHING into ANYTHING with enough time and MONEY . Along with the new power you have to also do something with the rest of...
Nice paint job . Are you planning on mounting a portable pump for refilling your tanks ? How will you mount your tanks ? Would it be easier to just get a used tanker for your water source . My brother started his Department with MV's from the government , so I know that it's all hands on deck...
streetgliderx . yes indeed , old Waterloo , family is from there , what can I say , got STUCK in the northern branch of the tree . We are due for a Bama trip come spring .
Yes , a fork lift is the right tool to move around those 395's . I used the folks on the my JD and a tire dolly , much easier ! I will have to stop by next time I visit the family in Waterloo .
