The wiring is what I was think that's possibly causing it, or maybe I don't have something plugged in right on the regulator, the alternator and regulator is brand new, so I think its something with the wires
Its the EverStart 1,000, when I first received the truck, it came with the 6TL's but they were dead, it has a 2020 date on them so I may charge them up and try those again
I had a bad generator on my humvee that was making a loud metal clacking noise that wasn't charging either, so I replaced it with a new generator plus regulator but even after changing it out, my RPM gauge & speedo still not working, plus my gauge has the batteries in the yellow not getting any...
Does anyone know where I can get the internal wiring harness that doesn't have the green piece inside? The female end on the outside already has the green piece but with my newer harness, the green piece is on the male end as well so I cannot connect the two.

Around $70, its best to get the anti swell glow plugs too, also get the glow plug extractor because if your plugs are swell than they ain't going to come out by just unscrewing them, that extractor made the job a lot easier, its around $60 but if you got a few swollen plugs then its a must have
It seems like you most likely have a bad smart start box, its more than likely that it fried your glow plugs. You should test your smart box and see if that's the issue. This is a pretty good video on how to test it
I'll definitely change the glow plugs too, but don't make an attempt to start...
Yea, I see now, I found one of the pulleys for $226, I think I'm better off just getting an air impact and taking the old one off of mines or bringing it to a shop to have them take it off
This not my generator but its similar, its the 8 groove pulley. My generator wasn't making any power and was making a really loud sound as if something inside is broken. I bought a new generator but it didn't come with any pulley so I'm trying to take the pulley off the old one and install it on...
