I'm about to bolt the cylinder head on this Dodge T223 engine.

The cab removed, I continue my work on the preparation of the peripheries around the engine.

The rims are very damaged, a first sandblasting is necessary. I sanded the radiator to recover the water boxes in order to rebuild a radiator with a new tank (harness).

Do you know the usefulness of this strapping on this early rim? I am operational for the sandblasting.
