Happened to be looking into this today and came across this thread.
TM 9-2320-209-34P Lists the following
In Figure #2 Page 6 Engine Mounts - Multifuel (This is for LDS427-2 Only)
4 pcs 7538640 Mount, Resilient, Front & Rear For LDS & LDT Engines
2 pcs 7538641 Mount, Resilient...
Pallet Jack is great I resisted getting one for a long time. Reasonable price available at Harbor Frt. if you have a coupon. Otherwise try to find a decent used one.
Used it to take out and rebuild my entire front axle with the springs on it. Have to take off the drums and brake plate on one...
This is what I was looking for here - Floridianson posted it elsewhere just a little while ago in another thread. Exactly what I had read on some other thread probably posted by the same knowledgeable fellow:
There are something you are going to have to check but myself start with checking the...
I had to search around like crazy on this one when I had a similar problem. Most likely your HH is correct based on what you are saying you did. I was unsure and barred the engine around looking thru the oil fill hole to find TDC on #1. Then the red tooth is supposed to be one off to the rear or...
Member Lukesdeuce has a small crane in the back of his 5 ton. You might be able to look at pics from the Rausch Creek rallies and get a look at it. Not sure if that is a possible solution for you.

All of these are good choices. Some of it you might find at Mcmaster-Carr and their website is the best in my opinion.
Not sure if it would work for anyone else - and it was an idea I have seen on SS somewhere - but I drilled a hole thru a 4x4 and used a nut on a threaded rod similar to what you have there to pull mine out. Came out easy with no beating on anything. You need a nice big washer or flat steel plate...
Based on this picture it looks like the heads can be torqued down using regular tools. Is there a reason to need those offset 7/8" wrenches when changing head gaskets on this or LDT engines? Are guys only using them to check or re-torque the heads after everything else has been put back on?
Sorry to hijack but it may fit the thread. Seen on previous posts guys recommendations of what to look at when the pan is down. Can't seem to find those posts now. Took mine down for cleaning, painting, gasket change. My LDT looks to have 12pt bolts already installed. Looks pretty fresh. What...
Forgot to mention primer choice:
KEM BOND HS which is a Phenolic Alkyd metal primer. Stinks pretty bad and requires Xylene for cleanup.
Also seems to work well and was recommended as the primer in coating system listed above.
About $51.00 a gallon for that. I used the gray.
My local Sherwin Williams rep was very helpful when I was looking for paint to use on my truck.
She got together with the support people who recommended SHER-CRYL HPA (High Performance Acrylic)
Can be sprayed, rolled, or brushed and looks pretty good to me.
Went with 24084 paint code from the...
As a member of the manufacturing community who is just under 40 years old I am saddened and disgusted by what has become of our industry in the last 40 years. We compete with Chinese products the prices of which are so low you cannot even fathom how they are making them. Their equipment in many...
If both trucks have the diesel LDT-465 the turbos should interchange.
You want to check the data plate on the passenger side of the engine to be sure of what you have.
