My local Sherwin Williams rep was very helpful when I was looking for paint to use on my truck.
She got together with the support people who recommended SHER-CRYL HPA (High Performance Acrylic)
Can be sprayed, rolled, or brushed and looks pretty good to me.

Does anyone recommend anything to lubricate the channels the glass rides in? Installed NOS doors complete with windows etc. and it is very hard to roll up the windows. Had to pull them up a bit at a time and work the crank.

I got mine running - lift pump plug must have gotten oxidized or loose being knocked with the battery charger. Poor troubleshooting on my end.

I have the boots, knowing I was doing this job and that they were all cracked. Hadn't considered how to get the old fittings off past the sleeves. Would like to be able to change them now while it's apart.
Does anyone have a method for changing the rubber caps that go over the connectors where the fuel lines come into the top of the HH? Looks like you would need to remove the flare sleeves and then the nuts to get them on. Mine are really on there - and not sure where to get new sleeves anyway...
Very True Bill about the tank gender at the time. Read a book about the Battle of Cambrai, pretty remarkable story. Being a tanker wasn't so great in those days and it wasn't long before the Germans developed AT Rifles and rounds for cannon which could really put a hurtin' on those early tanks.
Is there a similar place to look for the actual service record of a vehicle? I have an M35A2 and would like to know where it was based so I can put the correct markings on it.
I understand now. From reading the previous posts it seemed to me that the "Bases" would somehow thread into the existing original filter setup and "Adapt" them for use with modern spin-on filters.
If I am understanding correctly these bases are use to replace the originals. If I am still wrong...
