For steel parts some type of iron phosphate coating is the norm. If the parts have expanded metal on them, the grit blasting will beak down some of the sharp edge and that's probably as good as it's going to get. If you can DA sand any of the other edges without being a major hassle, that's...
Hello. I had a powder coating business for about 9 years. If any of your parts have sharp corners you should de-burr them as the powder will have a very thin coverage on sharp edges and rust will start in time. Also, are they pretreating after grit blasting? Most places that grit blast will...
We are donating some 151 body panels for auction at the Florida MVPA show March 13 - 15. Panels will ship out this week...

Here are the shows I'm planning on attending this year with our M151 body panels:
Sussex, NJ - April 18th & 19th
Findlay, OH - May 15th - 17th
Gilbert, PA - September 18th & 19th
I'm also planning on sending (not attending) a couple sets of parts to the Tower Park, CA show April 19th - 26th...

If you are working in Covington, stop in at Dave's Taxes & Tags and ask him what needs to be done on the PA side. He's located on old 15 between Covington and Blossburg. He's a real nice guy...
I just went on the MVPA site and they have the Findlay show listed as May 15th - 17th 2014, not 2015. So do they have a typo with the year or did they copy this years date?
If that schedule doesn't change, I will go to Ohio. Longer drive but the interest in the M151 stuff was much better in Findlay compared to Aberdeen. And it's not in a parking lot!

If you do need a rear differential I'm told that the 1100 series are an improvement over the 875 series. Numbers should be cast into the housing. If you haven't already, check out G838.org website - it's all and only M151. Lots of good info on there.
