    Is this a M920?

It's up...somethings wierd about it. Looks like a brush job on the running gear and the busted/rusty drop axel is reminiscent of the roll over M920 at Chambersburg a few months back. Jeff

    Found boarding ladders for $35

RE: Re: RE: Re: Found boarding ladders for $35 I never noticed the shop van ladders. i too, thought they were scarce. Jeff, i assumed you had the same aluminum boarding ladders everyone else had when they dumped a pile out of mechanicsburg. With so many web pages today it's hard to remember to...

    M41 Air Question

RE: Clear as mud No, without air the sprag stays in the neutral position and will not engage. When you put it in reverse, it reverses the sprag, otherwise it is in forward mode. that is why it is important to put it into reverse even when you are just rolling back. Jeff

    M60 Wrecker questions

RE: Re: RE: M60 Wrecker questions ok ok so i put a small block in my m715 and a five speed in the road runner. my policy is that if something may have real collectable value, i make mods that could be put back to original if necessary. re-powering to a multifuel could also be considered a...

    M60 Wrecker questions

uh...yellow.....it looks yellow. after he's gone thru the trouble of putting a good gasser in it and getting it running, you'll just ruin the truck with a multi-fuel....i don't know exactly how far he's gotten on it. maybe you saw it on ebay a few months back. i can pm you a phone number and he...

    M60 Wrecker questions

...and the M60 has a rear winch where the M108 does not. My friend Fred still has the M108 he'd part with. The longer it stays on his lot the more parts he hangs on it. jeff

    Is this a M920?

Hey Chris Yea, hopefully I'll bring a M915 next year but you missunderstand, the M919 is a cement truck. The one I found has had the cement mixer removed. I'd like to have an all-wheel-drive tractor heavy enough to pull my Bulldog and have a rear winch to drag it up on the trailer if it dies...

    Is this a M920?

I went to PA yesterday to buy a residue M916 but apparently the price nearly doubled on the way up. Need less to say, I didn't buy it. Progress has been slow on my M915 and the M915A1 is finally getting here next week. I've been told the M915s w/ the Cat tranny is much faster than the M915A1...

    M108 crane body

Are you sure it is a military boom? It apears to be similar in design to the M246/M819 boom which has an Austin-Western boom with a third unpowered section. You use the powered section to push and pull the unpowered section into position. You could probably put a bar between the brackets on top...

    Today in Woodstock Va

RE: woodstock tractor show Don't wanna be throwin' peoples names around on the in-tra-nets but there was a group from the intermont chapter of the mvpa. mb, m38a1, m151a1, m37, m715, m886, m1010, m35a2, m47a2 (or so he called it, a nice m35a2 with a commerical dump body, well done), m51a2...
